
When did you first develop an interest in fitness?
At age 4, I used to compete in baton twirling and gymnastics. Then, I started cheerleading. Fitness helped me excel in both activities. I joined a health club in junior high and I’ve been hooked on strength training and group exercise classes ever since.
What do you enjoy the most about teaching your class?
Motivating my students to do things which they did not believe that they could do, seeing them raise their own personal bar and hearing how great they feel as a result.
Favorite food?
Sushi.
Any change in your workout over the years?
I always incorporated strength and cardio in my weekly routines. I just recently added yoga, spinning, and swimming for cross-training benefits and injury prevention.
